In this section
The professional-development scaffolding that accompanies the academic work: the Professional Skills Matrix (baseline versus end-of-module), the Personal Development Plan (PDP), and the feedback received from tutor and peers during the module.
This section gathers the three components of professional development for the Machine Learning module. Use the left rail to jump between them.
Skills Matrix
The Professional Skills Matrix maps competencies and skills to a self-assessed level (Aware, Trained, Semi-Senior, Proficient, Expert) with supporting evidence. It is updated at the start of the module (baseline) and again near the end (delta). The gaps it surfaces feed the PDP.
Personal Development Plan (PDP)
The PDP is the actionable counterpart to the Skills Matrix. For every gap between baseline and end-of-module position, the PDP records what I will do about it, the resources required, the success measure, and the target date.
Feedback
A record of feedback received during the module from the tutor and from peers. Each entry is dated, summarised, and anonymised where appropriate.
